Original line up of PictureHouse return for show in The Academy on November 23rd

Irish band Picture House have announced that all 5 recording members of their hit album “Karmarama” will be on stage as they bring the album to The Academy on November 23rd.

Released in 1998, Karmarama went straight into the Top 10 in the album charts and spawned 3 top 30 singles including All The Time In The World, Love in the Streets and the massive hit, Sunburst which was the most played song on Irish radio that year. The album also features fan favourites like Raining Stones and A Thousand Years of Evolution,  a song which is almost more relevant today than when it was written 20 years ago.

“We’ve never played some of these songs live before and I can’t wait to get on stage with the band, it’ll be the first time we’ve all been on stage together since 1999. The venue is fitting, we recorded a live album there in 2000 when it was called HQ Hall of Fame! Whether you were there with us first time around or are new to the band, it’ll be a great night”  – Dave Browne.

The band are also planning a new EP and fans have some unique ways to contribute. Check out https://fundit.ie/project/picturehouse—new-ep – There’s not much time left!
