Irish actor / singer Patrick Bergin has revealed his pride at being asked to perform in front of Pope Francis this month in Croke Park. “I’m very honoured to be performing in front of the Pope, it’s a privilege and will be a highlight of my career for sure!”
The upcoming appearance co-incides with Patrick’s most recent release, a country track called “If you ever see Jesus again” a track which Bergin says is influenced by “what would happen if Jesus came back and I saw him”.
If you ever see Jesus again was recorded in Dublin by Ken Kiernan. The track is available now on all download and streaming platforms from smarturl.it/patrickbergin
2018 has been an interesting year for Patrick, he’s been a gangster on Eastenders, he’s been confirmed to appear in a film by Michael Flatley and released a number of his own songs including “Crazy in Love” and the personal “Tipperary Waltz.”
